Lord of the Rings: The Duel is one of the first Middle-earth action games.^[1]^[2] In the game two players need to fight each other. The players can choose from several Tolkien characters: Gandalf, Gollum, Sam and a Ring Wraith.^[1]^[2] There are three locations where the players can fight: Lothlórien, Rivendell and a Swamp of Mordor. The game is designed by Tim Winsky,^[3] under his old alias Tatsumakisenpukyaku III.^[1] The game is freeware^[1]^[4] and downloadable here.
