Third Age 2852 (abbreviated to T.A. 2852) is the 2852nd year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2852 was also known as S.R. 1252 in Shire-reckoning.

- Birth of Belladonna Took, ninth child and second daughter of Thain Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb.[1]

Editions prior to the 50th Anniversary edition also included the following, which was moved to T.A. 2872:[2]
- Belecthor II of Gondor dies. The White Tree dies, and no seedling can be found. The Dead Tree is left standing.
