úre is a noun meaning "heat" in Quenya.[1]
Úre is the name in Quenya of the thirty-sixth letter of the Tengwar alphabet.[1] When used as a consonant it represents W.[2] However, in the Mode of Beleriand, as seen as in the inscription on the West-gate of Moria, Yanta represents U.[3] The Westron name for this letter is Au.[4]
