- 1989 - Heren Hyarmen is founded by Ronald E. Krymse in São Paulo, Brazil. On 9 January 2003, the name was changed to "Heren Hyarmeno", the correct Quenya genitive to mean "Order of the South".
- 2000 - Voice actor Fraser Kerr dies.
