37 Duchess Road was the home of J.R.R. Tolkien and his brother Hilary Tolkien into a room let by a Mrs. Faulkner from 1908 to 1909. Duchess Road is behind the Birmingham Oratory. Tolkien first meet with Edith Tolkien at this place.
