99 Holywell Street in Oxford was the home of Ronald, Edith, and Priscilla Tolkien from May 1950 to 30 March 1953, moving to 76 Sandfield Road. [1]Christopher Tolkien also lived here from 1954.
99 Holywell Street is an early seventeenth-century house that many college servant, professors and students lived. Today is a private house.
