ANA is an Elvish root, with two different meanings.^[1]

  • Quenya: anta- ("give"); anna ("gift"); ante (fem., "giver"), anto (masc., "giver"); anta ("face")
  • Noldorin (Sindarin): anno ("to give"); ant ("gift")

• Yavanna
• Aryante ("Day-bringer")
