A Meeting in the Hyades is the title of a fanfiction story by Marion Zimmer Bradley. It was first published as a separate work (chapbook) in 1961, and then again in Anduril and Astra's Tower Special Leaflet (pp.14-29[1]) in 1962, and then again in Starstone #1 in 1978.
"A Meeting in the Hyades" is a Tolkien/Darkover crossover (a fanfiction story in which two or more fandoms are combined in some way). It is a story where Regis Hastur, or a character that later developed into Regis, meets a character from The Lord of the Rings somewhere in the Darkovan mountains.[2]
