"A World for Children" is the title of the first literary review of The Hobbit. It was written by C.S. Lewis and originally published in The Times Literary Supplement on 2 October 1937 (p. 714). In 1972 the review was reprinted as the chapter "The Hobbit" in the collection Of This and Other Worlds.[1]
