Agandaûr is one of the main characters of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. He is a descendant of the Black Númenóreans and one of Sauron's most cruel servants, and a sorcerer as well. At the end of the Third Age Sauron sent him to the north to destroy Rivendell and defeat the Free peoples of the north.[1]
