Polish Tolkienists Almanac Aiglos is the annual journal of the the Parmadili, The Tolkien Section of the Silesian Fantasy Club.

History

Aiglos was founded in November 2004. The regular Polish language issues were published biannually since the first issue in Winter 2004 till the #16 issue in Summer 2011. From the Summer of 2012 Aiglos continues as the annual. There are two English language issues: Special Issue I, Summer 2005 and Special Issue II, Summer 2012.[1]

Content

Aiglos is a non-commercial and non-profit annual journal of the Parmadili, the Tolkien Section of the Silesian Fantasy Club. Publication consists of articles and essays in Tolkien studies, both academic and popular papers. The texts concern Tolkien himself, his work, and the world he created. Aiglos publishes also reviews of Polish and foreign books on Tolkien and his work and presents fanfiction, including poetry, and fan art in black and white.
