alph, pl. eilph is the Sindarin word for "swan".[1][2]

Etymology

From OS alpha, from Common Telerin alpa, itself from PQ alkwâ (root ÁLAK).[3][4]

The form is given to be common both in Noldorin and Ilkorin.
