Ar-Sakalthôr was the 22nd King of Númenor. As had now become the custom in Númenor, he took his royal title in the Adûnaic tongue. Had Ar-Sakalthôr taken his title in Quenya, it would have been Tar-Falassion, "Son of the Coast". Ar-Sakalthôr ruled Númenor for sixty-nine years.[1]
