asea is a Quenya adjective meaning "beneficial, helpful, kindly" and is usually used to refer to the useful plant also known by its longer name Asea Aranion[1].

Etymology

The word derives from *athea, stem as- and ending -ea; the PQ form was athajâ root *ATH
