Banks Family

Banks was a common Hobbit family name, found not only in the Shire, but also in Bree. Known members of the family are Eglantine Banks, the mother of Peregrin Took, and Willie Banks, a hobbit from Bree, who was killed in the battles against the strangers who attacked Bree early in T.A. 3019.
