Battle of the Lammoth

The Battle of the Lammoth was a late-developed battle that was fought in the Lammoth. According to The Shibboleth of Fëanor, when Fingolfin and his host arrived in Middle-earth they fought against the orcs a battle in which fell Argon, Fingolfin's youngest child.
In the published Silmarillion this battle does not exist.
