Beechbone was the name, at least according to Peregrin Took, of a notably tall and handsome Ent. He was caught in a burning spray sent up by Saruman from the beneath the Circle of Isengard, but his fiery end brought his fellow Ents to the peak of their destructive anger.

Portrayal in Adaptions

In Peter Jackson's The Return of the King Beechbone survives being set-alight by distinguishing the flames in the floods of the River Isen.
