Beleth (born F.A. 417) was the eldest child and only daughter of Bregolas.

History

Beleth was two years older than Baragund and four years older than Baragund. After the Dagor Bragollach, most women and children of the house of Bëor were forced to flee Dorthonion. No tales relate the fate of Beleth; her brothers fell with Barahir when their band of outlaws was betrayed.[1]

Beleth's remote descendant in the Second Age was Beregar, father of Erendis.[2]

Other Versions of the Legendarium

In an early version of the House of Bëor, Beleth was the daughter of Boron and thus aunt to Bregor. In the last revision to the genealogy Beleth was moved down three generations.[2]
