Bored of the Rings is a 1985 video game published for several platforms, influenced by the novel of the same name. It is the first of the series Hairy Toes, the other part is The Boggit.
Gameplay
Unlike the book, character names are more reminiscent of the original work. Grandalf is Gandalf, Bimbo is Bilbo Baggins and Fordo is Frodo Baggins, among others. The game is divided in four parts; unlocking a new part requires a password received at the end of the previous part. The authors of the game are Fergus McNeill, Judith Child and Ian Willis.
