Borgil was a bright red star in the constellation of Menelvagor.[1]
Etymology
Borgil means "Steadfast Star" in Sindarin (from bôr "steadfast, trustworthy, faithful" and gil "star").[source?] It is generally accepted[source?] to be Aldebaran.
