Brandir (son of Arachon)

Brandir was the elder child of Arachon and Bregil of the House of Bëor. His sister Beldis married Handir of Brethil and their child, known as Brandir the Lame was named after his uncle.[1]
Etymology
In the Etymologies, the name Brandir is said to be a compound of brand + dîr.[2]
