Captain of Umbar was the name given to the commander of the fleets of Umbar, a rebellious province of Gondor. During the reign of the Kings of Gondor descended from Anarion, there were many conflicts between the two sides. In his works, Tolkien talked about Umbar, but not of it's captains. However, he supposedly wrote the the two Haradrim lords, Herumor and Fuinir, were the sons of a captain of Umbar.
