"But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Éowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Be gone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him."
― Éowyn, The Battle of the Pelennor Fields

The scene of Dernhelm confronting the "Dwimmerlaik" Witch-king on the Fell beast who is about to finish Théoden, the revelation that he is actually Éowyn, and the fulfillment of Glorfindel's prophecy, is a famous instance from the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. It has been one of the most favorite scenes among Tolkien artists and one of the most iconic of the legendarium.
