Clive Selsby Revill (April 18, 1930) is a Wellington born voice actor, best known as the original voice of Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back. Revill, who now mixes screen acting with voice-over work, provided the voice of Thorin in The Hobbit (2003 video game), and did several unspecified additional voices.
