Dáin's halls, were the Dwarf kingdom of Dáin I in the Grey Mountains. He was killed by a great Cold-Drake along with his son Frór at the door of his halls. Which a year later most of Durin's folk abandoned the mountains for Erebor and the Iron Hills.
