Daddy Twofoot was the next door neighbor of Hamfast Gamgee in Bagshot Row under Bag End. Twofoot most likely lived between the other hobbit-holes which made up the row. He was known to have visited the Ivy Bush Inn on Bywater Road but he did not venture further. Buckland was considered to him a land of peculiar strangers and mysterious tales.
