Daniel T. Grotta (born 1944), sometimes credited as Daniel Grotta-Kurska, is a freelance journalist. Together with his wife, Sally Wiener Grotta, he has written many books on photography. Grotta wrote the first biography of J.R.R. Tolkien (even before Humphrey Carpenter).
