Daniel Grotta

Daniel T. Grotta (born 1944), sometimes credited as Daniel Grotta-Kurska, is a freelance journalist. Together with his wife, Sally Wiener Grotta, he has written many books on photography. Grotta wrote the first biography of J.R.R. Tolkien (even before Humphrey Carpenter). He has been speeching on Tolkien since, and has appeared on both radio and TV shows discussing Tolkien and his work.
