Donald Messick (September 7, 1926 - October 24, 1997) was an American voice actor. A legend in voice acting, Messick is remembered for iconic roles such as Scooby-Doo, Papa Smurf, Droopy, Atom Ant and a variety of animals (a market now owned by Frank Welker and Dee Bradley Baker).
