Template:Youmay Template:Royalty infobox Eldacar (T.A. 87 – 339, died aged 252 years) was the fourth King of Arnor, succeeding his father, Valandil, when he died in 249. His father Valandil was the only surviving son of Isildur, the last High King of both Gondor and Arnor.
His reign was without any significant event, and he died in 339 after having ruled Arnor for ninety years. He was succeeded by his son Arantar.

Etymology
Eldacar's name is Quenya for "Elf Helm", coming from elda meaning "elf", and cár meaning "head".
