First Age 116 (abbreviated to F.A. 116) is the 116th year of the Sun of the First Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Gondolin is completed and Turgon secretly removes his people from Nevrast.[1]
- Before Turgon leaves Vinyamar, Ulmo comes to him and instructs Turgon to leave armour and a sword behind. There will be worn as a token by a future warrior to warn him of impending Doom.[2]
