The Fall of Minas Ithil was a battle that occurred in S.A. 3429 between the Dúnedain of Gondor, and the force Mordor.
In a swift and sudden attack, Sauron's forces took Minas Ithil and drove out Anárion son of Elendil. Thus beginning the War of the Last Alliance.
