Tolkien labeled/chronicled Middle Earth through Ages(F.A.,S.A.,T.A., Years of the Trees, etc.) How long is an age? How many mortal years make up F.A., etc. and the Years of the Trees? —Unsigned comment by Breragor (talk • contribs).

"Age" is not a standard unit of time. A new Age starts, well, when the last one's over. The First Age lasted some 590 years, the Second 3441, and the Third 3021. See here for more info. -- Ederchil ^{(Talk/Contribs/Edits)} 20:29, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
