The question was directed to you because you are 1) the most active administrator, and 2) I have no idea who made the infoboxs. If you agree with us on the infoboxs, do you know who made them?? Shouldn't Eldarion be considered Half-elven? Even if Arwen chose the fate of the mortals before giving birth to Eldarion, so did Lúthien too. Should Dior then be considered a Man? Woolly Mammoth 12:27, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm going with Eldarion being half-elven. Arwen's fate is to be a mortal, yes, but it doesn't mean she stops being an elf.
- If every elf who fell for a human became mortal, Tolkien would have never mentioned half-elfs. Arya
??? If sources are to be found Mith, they will be. We are simply debating over Tolkien's view, wondering if it is a mistake, an ill placed word, or actually correct. Since Luthien and Arwem took the same path, why are the outcomes different? I correct myself none the less. Tolkien says what he says, and that is what this site is all about. We give people answers from the text. Arya
- Once again, Mith, I apologize for your trouble of cleaning up my mess and banning my pompous self-absorbed self. On the other, more topic related, hand: though Eldarion, to my knowledge, is never referred to as being one of the Half-elven in any of Tolkien's works, neither is Gilmith or Galador for that matter. May I ask then, why are those two still tagged as Half-elven? Your ever obnoxious Woolly Mammoth 12:25, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
The question was directed to you because you are 1) the most active administrator, and 2) I have no idea who made the infoboxs. If you agree with us on the infoboxs, do you know who made them?? (Lol woolly) Arya
