Hi everyone~ I am trying to write a song in Elvish from Tauriel's lines in Desolation. I tried to translate it the best I could, but I just know my attempt is woefully wrong.

Will someone please help set me straight?? <3 Thank you!

Original text:

I have walked there sometimes. Beyond the forest and up into the night. I have seen the world fall away and the white light forever fill the air.

(Poorly) Translated: Ni padaennas laew lui. Athan I taur ar am nan rîn. Cíniel I ardhon edanna ar I fain calad pannaui I gwilith. Unsigned comment by Cnsgn2oblvn (talk • contribs).

We're not the best place for this. It's been a while since I've been active in Neo-Sindarin, but what I see in an instance is you just calqued the words in a different language. Conjugation isn't the best. Have you studied the grammar? Here are some articles and here are some more. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 22:09, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
