I have never heard of Herendil, and here it says he is the son of Elendil.  Elendil, who fought in the Last Alliance, only had Isildur and Anarion for children.  Tar-Elendil's children were Silmariën, Isilmë, and Írimon.  Also, there is no page for Herendil.  Someone please answer this question of mine.

:Herendil was the name of a son of Elendil - the last alliance one - at an early stage of writing. He only appeared in LR; ''[[The Lost Road and Other Writings]]''. I am currently taking a Quenya course from Ardalambion, and in Lesson 5, the author says: "To start with the primary verbs, what seems to be the present tense of the verb mel- "love" is attested in LR:61, Elendil telling his son Herendil: Yonya inyë tye-méla, "I too, my son, I love thee"."

Tar-Elendil's children were Silmariën, Isilmë, and Írimon. Also, there is no page for Herendil. Someone please answer this question of mine.
