There are some pictures that I think shouldn't be on this website.  The anime pictures by Felix Sotomayor are definatly not canon.  See "Noldor" where there's pictures of some swords that apparently came out of nowhere.  It annoys me. The "Middle-earth" page has an "extended map" which is largely fan-made, and thus I feel not to be appropiate on this webpage.  Should they be taken off, or should there be (a) page(s) for fan created items?

:Unfortunately since the Professor's illustrations were basic to the say the least, all illustrations are going to have at least some non-canon aspects. Of course some are going to be less canon than others but if the illustrations are professionally done then I think they are worth keeping. I think for those illustrations which contain contradictions we can add a note that states it is not considered a canonical image and should be looked at with a grain of salt. We have plenty of storage space so we might as well collect as many images as we can and let the viewer decide. The best/most canon can be the ones we include into articles. --[[User:Hyarion|Hyarion]] 19:47, 15 February 2007 (EST)
I agree with Hyarion.  I think that as long as the pictures have to do with The Lord of the Rings, they should be allowed on the site. --[[User:Gwilith|Gwilith]] 20:55, 6 April 2007 (EST)

--The Lord Rhys 18:50, 15 February 2007 (EST)

Unfortunately since the Professor's illustrations were basic to the say the least, all illustrations are going to have at least some non-canon aspects. --Hyarion 19:47, 15 February 2007 (EST)

I agree with Hyarion. I think that as long as the pictures have to do with The Lord of the Rings, they should be allowed on the site. --Gwilith 20:55, 6 April 2007 (EST)
