| − | Yet another naming question (YANQ), I think it would be nice to have an article (or two) which list works (or other things) which inspired [[J.R.R. Tolkien]]. Firstly I think an article title is in order. ''J.R.R. Tolkien's inspirations'' is one I suppose, or ''Works which inspired J.R.R. Tolkien'', etc. Whether we want to include people, places, ideas, works, etc. all in one article or separate them somehow I haven't decided. [[User:Ardamir|Ardamir]]'s [http://www.abo.fi/~jolin/tolkien/inspirations/index.htm Tolkien's Inspirations] section is a good place to get some ideas.
