Gelmir (disambiguation)

Gelmir was the son of Guilin, and a noble of Nargothrond. He was captured by Morgoth in the Dagor Bragollach ("Battle of Sudden Flame"). It was his maiming before the elven host at the fortress of Barad Eithel that began the Nirnaeth Arnoediad ("Battle of Unnumbered Tears").
