Gerard Murphy (October 14, 1955) was the narrator of the 1981 radio series of The Lord of the Rings, broadcasted on the BBC 4. Murphy, a Shakespearian actor, has appeared in guest roles in numerous British TV-series, such as Dr. Who, Dalziel & Pascoe and Waking the Dead.
