Gimilzagar was the second son of Tar-Calmacil,[1] the eighteenth ruler of Númenor. He may or may not have been the ancestor of Inzilbêth, mother of Tar-Palantir.[2]

Etymology
Gimilzagar seems to mean "Star-sword" in Adûnaic (from gimil, 'star' and zagar, 'sword').
