Gladden may refer to:
- Gladden River, a tributary of the River Anduin to the west of the Misty Mountains.
- The Gladden Fields, marshlands which neighboured the Gladden River.
- Iris, the flowers that grew near the aforementioned locations, and are referred to as "gladden".
From Old English glaedene, gladden is another name for the 'flag' or 'iris', now usually spelt gladdon.
Tolkien suggested to translators to avoid if possible the 'learned' name iris.
