Goblin-men were creatures bred by Saruman, apparently by blending the races of Orcs and Men. They were similar with the Half-orcs, at least in their resistance to the sunlight, that differentiated them with the full Orcs. Goblin-men fought alongside Half-orcs, Hill-men and Dunlendings in the Battle of the Hornburg.[1]
