Grishnákh was port of a raiding party which captured [[Merry]] and [[Pippin]] at [[Parth Galen]]. He was the captain of a group of orcs which joined Uglúk's forces on the plains of [[Rohan]] during the [[War of the Ring]]. After seeing [[Merry]] and [[Pippin]] imitate Gollum's croaking noise, he believed they had the One Ring and planned on taking it from them. Grishnákh was an orc of Mordor, and possibly one of the Uruk-hai. He was present at the torture and interrogation of Gollum and therefore knew about the One Ring. Grishnákh was port of a raiding party which captured Merry and Pippin at Parth Galen.
