Gwaith

gwaith or gweith is a noun meaning "manhood" in Sindarin. The meaning is often extended to mean "brotherhood, regiment, host, people".

Examples:

• Forodwaith = "People of the North"
• Gwaith-i-Mírdain = "Brotherhood of Jewel-smiths"
