The Hall of Fire is a hall in Elrond's house at Rivendell. A fire was always kept lit there, and while it stood empty during the day, at night it was given over to the telling of tales and singing of songs.

On October 24 of T.A. 3018, Bilbo Baggins was sitting there reciting his Song of Eärendil to Lindir and other Elves. He was then joined by Frodo Baggins.

Portrayal in Adaptations

2007: The Lord of the Rings Online:

The Hall of Fire is found in the Last Homely House on the first floor. The hall is two stories tall and contains two long tables. On the opposite end of the door to the hall is a great fireplace flanked on both sides by smaller fireplaces. One can find Bilbo playing a riddle game with Lindir.
