Harding of the Hill (born S.R. 1501 / F.A. 80) was the son of Holfast Gardner, and the great-grandson of master Samwise Gamgee. He, and the other Gardners of the Hill, lived in Bag End after Samwise left The Shire in 61 Fourth Age
