Harlequin Miniatures was a British company which in the late 1990s started a range of metal miniatures based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien (in the familiar 32 mm size). They lost their license to Games Workshop, who opted for the same size so the figures could be mingled. The miniatures were sold unpainted.
