The Headstrongs were a Hobbit family, probably well-to-do,[1] although they were not included in Tolkien's list of wealthier Hobbit families.[2] The only known member of the family, Malva Headstrong, married Gormadoc Brandybuck, a notable Master of Buckland.[3]
