Of course! Registered users have something similar to a 'Folder' for creating these articles. Instead of writing the article in the main namespace, just type User:YourUserName/Your_Article_Name. This seperates opinionated articles from factual articles.
* An example being if I want to write a fan fiction about [[Beren]] and [[Luthien]], I'll write it in [[User:Hyarion/Beren_and_Luthien]], then maybe on the [[Beren and Luthien]] or the [[Fan Fictions]] page I'll link to my story.

How do I create a new article?

Your best option is to click a red link, you will be directed to the edit page, add your content, click save, and you are good to go.
